About Event

Tap into your DreamScout investigation skills on the Camp Dreamtree Scavenger Trail. The Scavenger Trail is just what it sounds like, a scavenger hunt! DreamScouts will be traversing the Community Art Studio to find 12 Eyestars. With every Eyestar you find, you will uncover 3–5 fun facts about Scottsdale, The Scottsdale Arts Festival, or Camp Dreamtree. Within each fact there will be a special word. Collect all 50 words, add them to your field guide, bring them to the big yellow tent known as Izimbra, and you will receive the most honored and revered S.T.A.R.

Scout badge!

All S.T.A.R. Scouts know that the most important things for success in a scavenger hunt are:

Starting your quest.

Tracking your target.

Accounting your collection.

Reflecting upon your success.

Camp Dreamtree is an all-inclusive, interactive installation designed by Fireweather Studio at the Scottsdale Arts Festival. Explore this bright and colorful world focusing on each new DreamScout being “small, but part of the whole.” The installation is comprised of three main parts: a visitor center, a fire pit, and four Dreamhouses with self-guided and artist led activities for all ages.
